Bad Boy Boards

a retail theater experience.

The love of craftmanship and cooking birthed the idea of Bad Boy Boards, a handmade wood kitchen board company. The Kestrel design team worked hand in hand with the Bad Boy team to bring their vision of creating a unique shopping experience to life - by giving customers a front row seat of the woodworking process. To accomplish this, the space is divided into a front retail area and a technically advanced woodworking shop. The bright light of the woodworking shop radiates from a viewing window connecting the two spaces, allowing customers to experience the craftmanship process without the interference of noise or dust. While the front retail space has a warm inviting pallet that accentuates the depth and tone of the wood, the shop area is bright, crisp and clean. The entire space incorporates the unique branding of the sophisticated yet relatable and bad ass brand of Bad Boy Boards.
