Duda

vibrant design expressed through color and humor.

As the second location in North America and the fourth international location for this tech company, Duda wanted to make sure that the aesthetic of each of their offices was consistent, while creating a new design that showcased the specific nature of the Colorado office.

This organization prides themselves on expressing the personality of their company through ‘The Big Lebowski’ and ‘The Dude’, the movie’s main character. Throughout the office you can find rooms named for Lebowski characters and meeting rooms themed for their specific uses. Many reclaimed materials were used in the design for a highly industrial, worn and warm look, such as reclaimed barn wood doors, custom made iron door pulls, painted metal panels and the existing metal rusted deck. The rusted deck was a jumping off point for the use of Duda’s main color in the design, as well as inspiration from the sunset over the Flatirons. The colors of the sunset feature an array of oranges, reds and fuschia that can be found throughout the office. The completed design expresses vibrance through color and humor, which is perfect for conveying the funky culture of this driven company.
