Black Knight

letting building shape inform design

During the middle of the design process, Optimal Blue was acquired by Black Knight. Our relationship continued to be developed with the Optimal Blue team even once we started to implement Black Knight standards for signage. The result is both a fun and clean design that utilizes the core and shell angles of the building throughout the rest of the design. The hallways, room shapes and ductwork all highlight the angularity of the building as opposed to keeping the design linear. Since Optimal Blue originally came from a dated building and even more dated space, they wanted the design to be a refection of their values and of their technology sector clients. The result is a monochromatic masterpiece with dark navy blue and rust colored accents to stand out against the neutral backdrop, along with angular patterns and soft shapes that make walking the entire perimeter of the space cohesive and dynamic.
