Kestrel Studio

Like many of our clients, we required more space for flexibility to grow our design team and an environment to host, while also inspiring creativity, collaboration and innovative thought. We chose the historic Market Center building in downtown Denver, not only because of the original floor to ceiling windows, but because of the character and warmth of the brick walls and timber constructed ceiling deck. Lighting can be argued as one of, if not the most, important aspect of design, so the space is scattered with carefully chosen light fixtures that range in color temperatures for work environments and lounge environments. Biophilia was incorporated throughout the office to bring the outside in during the work day and allow our designers to be more productive and happy. As an office of mostly women, we needed a space for new mothers to take time for themselves and for everyone else to be able to rest and recharge. This bold step in a new direction is perfectly suited for our bustling design firm.
