Architect
We are seeking a full-time Project Architect with a bachelors or masters degree in architecture who is looking for a highly creative and active environment to build upon their career. Applicants must have minimum 4+ years industry experience in all relevant phases of a commercial project such as programming, schematic design, design development, construction documentation and construction administration. Applicants will also be responsible for other tasks including design research and project management. Applicants will be responsible for working alongside others within the studio and will work directly with senior personnel and principals of the firm. Applicants do not have to have a license but must be on the NCARB path for licensure.
Skills
- Understanding and ability to execute all project phases from programming through construction administration
- Creation of any project documentation needed
- Highly skilled at planning, client communication, project management and technical specifications
- Understanding and working knowledge of building codes
- Creative design and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Revit
- Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office Products
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other design and engineering professionals
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple assignments simultaneously
- Ability to manage other studio projects and designers within the studio
Experience
- 5+ years minimum of experience in Architecture, preferably commercial interiors
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or similar field
- Confident and comfortable speaking with others and presenting ideas
